Just when you thought that no improvements could be made to the standard ankle holster design, DeSantis creates the Die Hard Ankle Rig. Formed from top-grain saddle leather and coated on the outside with a high-endurance PU finish, the Die Hard Ankle Rig was made to withstand the demands of daily wear by federal law enforcement agencies.

When in the design phase of production, DeSantis holster engineers made longevity and performance their major focus points. For performance they incorporated a smooth leather lining that protects most gun finishes and provides for a fast, drag-free draw. For longevity, the highest-quality saddle leather was transposed to the holster craftsman's bench to provide the ankle holster with superior performance over the course of many years, if not decades.

A traditional thumb break retention strap was includes in order to make the holster comply with most major law enforcement agency regulations and keep your pistol secure while walking and running. A neoprene leg band, lined with sheepskin, comfortably secures the holster in place. An optional calf strap or boot extender are optional and can be purchased separately.
