The company claims that a Fobus holster has a significantly faster draw than that of a traditional leather holster. This patented system leaves only one point of contact with the shooter's pistol and that is where the trigger guard matches up to the frame. The formation of the high-impact resistant plastic has a natural lubricant so there is no need to oil the holster in order to keep it in top shape for the long haul. Being free of leather and synthetic leather substitutes a Fobus holster doesn't breathe or sweat. They are able to stand up harsh environment conditions and the type of extreme weather that would shorten the service life of a more expensive leather design. Cleaning is a snap as well. Use a little soap and water and a scrub it down, rinse it off and let it dry and you're done.
