Most people who carry a handgun for self defense on a day-to-day basis carry extra ammo in a spare magazine or speed loader. They also never think about carrying a backup gun in an ankle holster.

A major reason for this is that many ankle holster designs are not very comfortable or they do not come matched to the type of firearm that the shooter owns. Fobus Holsters makes such obstacles a thing of the past with their high-performance ankle rig.

The ankle holster itself is formed from the super-strong polymer that it's main line offering are forged from. It also features the patented-pending passive retention system that keeps the gun securely in place but doesn't encumber the gun when you need to make a fast draw.

Uncomfortable ankle holsters are the kind that are left at home. Fobus took that into account and made sure that the cuff of their ankle holster was properly padded and able to support the weight of the gun comfortably. The Cadora pad is 3/4" thick and features an easy-on Velcro fastening system.

Currently Fobus makes this holster available in over 35 different variants so the majority of all compact pistols will be able to fit into one of these.
