The Miami Classic II shoulder holster is the standard by which all others are measured. Galco Holsters sells more Miami Classic II's than the all the shoulder holsters made by the next two largest producers. It's fit is known to be excellent and it's function the same. So much of its design has been copied by others that Galco claims that it holds the record as the "most imitated shoulder holster system in the world".

The Miamic Classic II is a direct descendant from of both the original Miami Classic as well as the initial Jackass shoulder rig which was the very first shoulder holster that Galco made. A key component of this patented shoulder system is its spider harness which was inherited from the original Miami Classic. All four points of the spider harness pivot independently and are connected by our unique clover shaped Flexalon swivel back plate. This setup is a trademark of Galco Holsters and provides impeccable fit lasting comfort for all body types.

People often look at this shoulder holster and its predecessor and wonder what the differences are. They both feature rear-facing holsters. Both have a full wrap retention strap, both have the Galco spider harness. The major difference between this version of the holster and the original Miami Classic shoulder holster is in the magazine pouches. The Classic II has a magazine pouch that retains the magazines horizontally, perpendicular to the vertical plane of the body and they are held in by friction only. No snap flaps. The original has magazine pouches which do feature snap flaps and are positioned at a downward 45 degree angle.

This shoulder holster is constructed of top-grain saddle leather. The includes components consist of the holster itself, harness, ammo carrier and a set of system screws. The Miami Classic II is fully modular and optional accessories and components may be purchased separately either in conjunction with the system itself or at a future date.

The Miami Classic II is produced primarily for semiautomatic pistols and is made available for both right handed and left handed shooters. Available colors are limited to a tan or black finish.
